   Senior Software Engineer · Mercado Livre

   • Evolve and keep resilient the core APIs that manage and expose PII across Mercado Livre's internal infrastructure, at over 20 million requests per minute and ~15 ms latency.
   • Optimize asynchronous processing and data access layers built on CQRS, scaling read and write paths independently.
   • Enforce PII access controls and governance policies in a mission-critical, continental-scale environment.
   • Build and maintain Go microservices on a highly available stack of Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.

2. 2022 — 2023 · Remote

   Senior Software Engineer / Consultant · EPAM Systems

   • Led the migration of critical legacy systems from on-premise to AWS for a major US insurance company.
   • Refactored enterprise codebases with Clean Code and SOLID principles, cutting technical debt.
   • Wrote new unit tests and overhauled existing suites to support continuous delivery in a highly regulated sector.
   • Worked in an international Scrum team of 10+ people, to the engineering standards of both EPAM and the client.

   • Designed the software architecture for web, mobile, and backend solutions supporting Ambev's operations.
   • Built the backend for the Carga & Descarga mobile app used by Ambev's field sales force, which helped HBSIS be named Ambev's best IT supplier of 2017.
   • Unified two legacy platforms (intranet-only and internet-only) into a single resilient architecture.
